Alicia has a wide range of expertise in the pet and social media industries and has leveraged all her skills to become the entrepreneur she is today. From overseeing nonprofits and foundations, building business start-ups to consulting for ad agencies, Alicia’s experience is widespread. She also has a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership.
Alicia started her blog, The DIY Dog Mom, in 2015 as a hobby. The blog started on Instagram where Alicia grew an engaged base for her blog before it’s launch. Since then, The DIY Dog Mom has grown into a business as Alicia monetized her blog and its social media channels. Alicia also founded the Mylah Medical Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization to help homeless medical needs dogs.
